INSIGHTS | This piece is one I will never forget. It was my first painting I had started & completed in years. I had taken a long break from art in general. No particular reason, life just got in the way. As quickly as you can stop doing something, one day - you can just start back up. Funny how that happens.

Figure drawing and painting has always been my favorite. There is nothing more beautiful than the female form. After a sudden burst of inspiration, a canvas and paints were procured, and I began. It felt so good. My inner critic was never consulted. I painted exactly what I wanted and used the exact color pallet I wanted. Again, it felt so good.

She is now hanging happily in her forever home.
